US DOT National Surface Transportation Policy and Revenue Study Commission Communications Program

Sharp & Company was asked to develop and implement the national communications plan for the development and release of this high-profile Commission’s report to Congress. The project involved coordinating six field hearings across the country; eight Commission meetings coordinated and held in Washington, DC; media relations during months of deliberations; website hub for information distribution to the public and internally; and support for the national rollout of the report.

The report release press conference, held at the National Press Club with additional phone lines for off-site participation, was attended by well over 100 members of the press and stakeholders, one of the largest turnouts ever for a transportation event.
